Official places to report crypto and investment fraud in Brazil, and the latest local warnings.
Where to report
- CVM (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários) — The securities regulator; alerts about unauthorised offers.
- Polícia Federal — Federal police; report the crime at your state's online police station (delegacia online).
Do this first
- Stop sending money, including any “fee” or “tax” demanded before a withdrawal.
- Call your bank, card issuer or exchange: some payments can still be stopped.
- Keep every message, wallet address, transaction ID and the website address.
- Report to the police and to the regulator above. Each report helps the regulator warn others.
- Ignore anyone offering to recover your money for an upfront fee.
