Official places to report crypto and investment fraud in Italy, and the latest local warnings.
Where to report
- CONSOB — The markets regulator; it orders unauthorised sites to be blocked.
- Polizia Postale (Commissariato di P.S. online) — Report online fraud to the postal and communications police.
Do this first
- Stop sending money, including any “fee” or “tax” demanded before a withdrawal.
- Call your bank, card issuer or exchange: some payments can still be stopped.
- Keep every message, wallet address, transaction ID and the website address.
- Report to the police and to the regulator above. Each report helps the regulator warn others.
- Ignore anyone offering to recover your money for an upfront fee.
