What these warnings mean
- CBI: The Central Bank of Ireland says the firm is not authorised to provide financial services in Ireland and warns consumers against dealing with it.
- SEC: The SEC lists the entity because it solicited investors while falsely claiming US registration, licensing or location, or while posing as a regulator. A PAUSE listing is a public alert, not a finding that the entity broke the law.
If you already sent money
- Stop paying. A demand for a “fee”, “tax” or “unlock charge” before a withdrawal is part of the scam, not a step towards your money.
- Save messages, screenshots, wallet addresses and transaction IDs.
- Tell your bank, card issuer or exchange today: card payments and bank transfers can sometimes be stopped or disputed if you act fast.
- Report it:
- Ireland: An Garda Síochána: fraud, Central Bank of Ireland: unauthorised firms. More for Ireland
- United States: FTC ReportFraud, FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), CFTC complaint and tip form. More for United States
- Anywhere else: your national police cybercrime unit and your financial regulator. How to report a crypto scam.
Anyone who contacts you offering to recover the money for an upfront fee is almost always running a second scam. See how to get money back after a crypto scam.

Questions
What have regulators said about Ackerman & Foster LLP?
Ackerman & Foster LLP is on 2 official warning lists: CBI (Ireland), SEC (United States). The first warning we hold is dated 21 Aug 2025. Each regulator's own words are linked above; they range from 'not authorised here' to suspected fraud, and a listing is a public warning, not a court ruling. We have not dealt with Ackerman & Foster LLP ourselves. Read the official notices before you send any money.
What should I do if I already sent money to Ackerman & Foster LLP?
Stop paying immediately, including any 'fee', 'tax' or 'release charge' you are asked for before a withdrawal: that request is itself a common second stage of the scam. Save every message, wallet address and transaction ID, tell your bank or exchange at once, and report it (Ireland: An Garda Síochána: fraud, Central Bank of Ireland: unauthorised firms; United States: FTC ReportFraud, FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), CFTC complaint and tip form). Be wary of anyone who contacts you offering to recover the money for a fee.
Why is Ackerman & Foster LLP listed here?
This page mirrors official regulator warning lists and links each notice. Real Crypto Signals does not add its own verdicts.
